Xiaomi Black Shark 2 already popped on TENNA listing last month, which confirmed the gaming smartphone is nearing official announcement. The Black shark global website has also set up a new landing page with a caption, “Shark unleashing soon” but it didn’t specify whether is first or second that will be unleashed. However, all indications are to the coming of Xiaomi Shark 2.
Spicing things up, the new Xiaomi Black shark 2 has just appeared in a short video, showing off a neat design. From the video, it shows clean colors glowing logo at the back and a color-illuminated side strips. On the back panel is a dual camera arrangement, likely to consist 12MP main snapper and 20MP depth sensor like on the previous generation.
Sadly, the video isn’t long to cover all the sides of the phone leaving us with so many imaginations, especially how the front panel will look like. But since Black Shark 2 has started appearing and the global website landing page at the helm of affairs. Things are surely going to be different as we expect the phone to be available outside China this time. The previous generation, meanwhile, didn’t make it outside the region.
According to TENNA listing, Xiaomi Black Shark 2 will feature a 5.99-inch display and 4000mAh battery, exact numbers on the previous generation. The dimensions, however, is a bit taller and a quite thicker frame. It’s a dual SIM device with dual standby and will support GSM, CDMA, LTE bands.
From the listing, a successor to Black Shark is surely an overstatement as no major difference has been sported yet. Xiaomi is rather working towards an alternative budget device to its first gaming smartphone. Nevertheless, we wait till the listing is completed to have a better idea of what is coming.
