We already know Xiaomi shark 2 launch will be anytime from this month after early poster predicted the launch to be on 23 October. Also, the global Black shark website has got a new landing page with the device on it and a caption “ Shark approaching unleashing.”
Initially, we thought its the first Xiaomi shark about to launch globally but it turns out the company is about to announce a successor for its first gaming device. The Xiaomi Shark 2 launch has now be confirmed officially to be on 23 October in Beijing. It was official black shark game phone Weibo account that broke the news in the early days of yesterday.
However, the new poster didn’t reveal any specs of the Shark 2 but we already know about the Snapdragon 845 Octa-core processor that’ll be paired with 8GB RAM. The device will run Android 8.1 out of the box, which is a bit of disappointment considering that Android Pie now comes preloaded on the most device. Upgrade to Android Pie is likely to happen in the shark 2 sometime next year
The device will feature RGB luminous Logo at the back and a side strips. Also, the battery capacity is likely to be 4000mAh, which is exactly the same numbers on the previous generation. Arguably, the device will feature a tall 5.99-inch display and is a dual SIM smartphone phone with support for GSM, CDMA, and LTE bands.
Nevertheless, is only a few specs that have been confirmed and we wait on the official Xiaomi shark 2 launch to learn more about the device and specs. So presumably is happening 4 days from today meaning we don’t have to wait much longer. We hope the device will be making it outside China this time contrary to the previous generation that didn’t cross the region.
