While Xiaomi is currently rolling out the Android 10 to it’s Android One device, users are already complaining of bugs. Considering the saga that surrounded the arrival of the update, it seems Xiaomi horridly released it to calm some nerves. If you can remember, some days ago, Xiaomi France, reported the update will arrive in March, I guess we are still in February, what happened?

The misinformation proves our point that even Xiaomi didn’t know when the update will arrive. And now that the update is arriving, which is a good thing, it didn’t fail to come with bugs. Below is the list of Xiaomi MI A3 Android 10 update bugs.

Note: these bugs are facing the update that arrived with V11.0.7.0 QFQMIXM.

  • Fingerprint scanner: a lot of users are complaining about this issue. According to them, the fingerprint unlock option disappeared after the update.
  • Mismatch of fonts: “Customize your Mi A3” option doesn’t work properly.
  • Video calling: The system sometimes reboots in looping after making a video call with some apps.
  • Camera won’t work on Pro mode: Stock camera app closes when Pro mode is selected. Shutter control isn’t present while the language on the tips menu is Chinese
  • Others: SD card corrupted/ stopped working after the update. UI corners not working as intended. Qualcomm Report Tool is present on public Stable ROM. ( It’s a production tool).

Meanwhile, about the customize your phone suggestion, there’s a way to go about it. You should go to settings> apps> all apps> show system from the top dot menu> search for setting suggestion> tap the app> storage> clear storage. The user who suggested this use MI A2 and said you should do it every 2-3 days.

Also, you can do a factory reset to fix some of the Xiaomi Mi A3 Android 10 update bugs. According to this user, after updating his Mi 9 to Android 10 faced similar issues, but did a factory reset to get it working properly.

First clear your camera app data and cache, and if that doesn’t work, you might have to do a factory reset. Remember to back up before doing a factory reset. Lemme know if that solved the problem for you.
