At the time of this report, Xiaomi is yet to start rolling out Android 10 to Mi A2 Lite for the second time. After the first roll-out, which had some units bricked, the company promised to roll out fixes for the buggy update.
“Xiaomi is aware of the Android 10 update problems in Mi A2 Lite and the launch to users of said device has currently been suspended. Our teams are now working to resolve the issue and our goal is to implement an OTA update throughout March. Affected users are encouraged to bring their devices to Xiaomi authorized service centers for post-sale assistance.”

From their statement, they promised to re-release the update this month. However, today is the last day of March, and probably they were not able to fix the buggy update. As things are now, we might not see the update again this month. We believe that’s better instead of another buggy update.
But while Xiaomi is yet to start rolling out Android 10 to Mi A2 Lite again, a report on the internet as of yesterday claims some users are getting a fix update. We can confirm that to be fake. The only people with an update notification on their phone are those that didn’t download the first build.

Also, the picture of the Changelog is from the last rollout. It has under the highlights Dark theme, Gesture Navigation, privacy control, Replace the Xiaomi FM radio with a Qualcomm app. It weighs 1.14GB, and it’s the same size as the last update.
We advise you to disregard the report because if you go ahead and download the Android 10 update on your Mi A2 Lite, if it doesn’t brick, it will become unusable.
