Xiaomi MIUI 12 official announcement will take place in China on the 27Th of April. There have been so many leaks and rumors about the next Xiaomi MIUI update. Just yesterday, a report claimed the new Android skin would be released towards the tail of this month. Now things are becoming more clear as Xiaomi releases a poster confirming the announcement and a new product launch.
According to the official poster released by Xiaomi, the product is dubbed Mi 10 Youth Edition. It will be equipped with a quad-rear camera and will support up to 50x zoom. Also in the poster, Xiaomi said, “Xiaomi 10 Youth Edition, a 5G mobile phone specially designed for young people, it is thin and colorful, and it looks far more fun.”
From speculations, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth is probably the Xiaomi Mi 10 lite. Recur that when Xiaomi announced the Mi 10 series globally, the company also released a Lite version priced from €349. The device is expected to debut in China on April 27, which is also the day slated for Xiaomi MIUI 12 official announcement.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition, which happens to be the Mi 10 Lite, will have a 6.57-inch AMOLED true color display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood will be Snapdragon 765G Octa-Core processor paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Of course, the device will support the 5G network, thanks to the Qualcomm X52 modem, and also Wi-Fi 6 certified. The battery capacity is 4160, but unfortunately, that fails to agree with the recent statement made by Xiaomi, that all its upcoming 5G enabled phones will feature, at least, 4500mAh battery.
Meanwhile, we already have so many unconfirmed features of the new Xiaomi user interface. There’s even a long list of unconfirmed phones to receive the update. However, we wait on the Xiaomi MIUI 12 official announcement to learn more about the upcoming Xiaomi Android Skin.
