According to reviews, Xiaomi’s flagship phones of the year, their first-ever true flagship. As such, there has been a hike in price, but that can be overlooked given the improved performance. The official AnTuTu Global top 10 performing flagship Android phones for June have four Xiaomi phones. It shows how the company has improved its high-end phones this year.
From the official AnTuTu website, each device evaluated was subjected to more than one thousand performance tests, and the mean score of each model is what is shown in numbers. The analysis ran from June 1 to June 30 on the AnTuTu Benchmark V8, as well as the data.
Global Top 10 performing flagship Android phones
On top of the chart is Oppo Find X2 Pro with a mean score of 690, 045. The device runs Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core processor paired with 12GB while on the second position is the most powerful smartphone from OnePlus. The OnePlus 8 Pro that was evaluated runs Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with 12GB and gathered a total score of 597, 053 points.
Occupying the third and fourth positions are the Redmi K30 Pro and Mi 10 Pro. It’s surprising to see the former with a lesser RAM putting a total point of 587,493 ahead of the Mi 10 Pro with 6GB RAM, which only managed to gather a mean point of 584,652.
Vivo iQOO3 sits above the OnePlus 8, POCO F2 Pro, and Mi 10. The three devices run Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core SoC with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, respectively. Their points are as follows; 580,530, 576,086, 572,967, and 568, 646.
It’s not surprising to see two Samsung flagships with the company’s in-house Exynos SoC on the bottom of the chart. They’re the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy S20 Plus, both equipped with Exynos 990 and paired with 12GB.
According to the list of the global top 10 performing flagship Android phones, which has Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-powered phones in the top eight, shows that Qualcomm is still the most powerful chip maker, miles ahead of Exynos SoC. The difference between the first device on the list and the last with Exynos SoC is a staggering 95,000 points. If Samsung wants to compete, it’s time they improve or better start shipping their flagship phones globally with Snapdragon SoC.
