Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the latest offering by the Chinese company to mark its tenth anniversary. It debuted alongside the Redmi K30 Ultra, which is more of a flagship killer and has already sold over 100,000 units. The Mi 10 Ultra, meanwhile, is the real deal and is currently the best camera smartphone, according to DOXMark. It also has the fastest charging solution available in that market now, but unlike the Mi 10 Pro, the audio quality isn’t that good.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra specs
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is an all-around beauty beast. The transparent black edition lets you see the internals of the phone, which is probably a mock-up but feels so nice. It has a similar build with the Mi 10 Pro, but the top speaker grill is missing, and that has seen the audio quality drop.
Aside from that, other features sit at their normal position, but the colors are not the same. Xiaomi offers the Mi 10 Ultra in colors of Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver, and Transparent Black Edition.
Mi 10 Ultra display
Aside from the camera, the display is another Mi 10 Ultra specs that has caught the eyes of many. The screen was produced by TCL, and when placed alongside the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, there wasn’t any notable difference in their performance.
It’s a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz, the highest for any Xiaomi smartphone. Also, there’s support for a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 4096 level of brightness in auto mode. For protection, you get Corning Gorilla Glass 5, making sure each fall doesn’t result in screen replacement.
Mi 10 Ultra performance
The last time Mi 10 Ultra took a trip to AnTuTu Benchmark, it pulled a whopping 687,442 points, making the first Android beat the 660 points on AnTuTu, thanks to the powerful processor.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, is paired with up 16GB LDDPR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 512GB internal storage. It’s coupled with Adreno 650 GPU, and with a frequency speed of up to 2.84GHz, the Mi 10 Ultra, will perform any task seamlessly.
Mi 10 Ultra camera
Apparently, the most interesting Mi 10 Ultra specs. The primary sensor is down to 48MP, but the performance beats that of Mi 10 Pro. It’s a 1/1.32″ lens, featuring PDAF, Laser AF, OIS, and is accompanied by a 48MP telephoto periscope lens capable of 120x hybrid zoom. Both cameras can shoot 8K@24fps and 4K@30/60fos videos.
According to DOXMark, the ultra-wide-angle lens is the best currently. The 20MP lens outputs accurate details and delivers a decent dynamic range while the 12MP telephoto snapper also matches the hype.
Mi 10 Ultra battery
The battery capacity is capped at 4,500mAh, the same capacity as the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. But while the duo can only top up at a maximum speed of 50W, the Mi 10 Ultra does it at 120W. It takes 23 minutes to charge from 0-100%, while the 50W wireless charging takes just 40 minutes. The device also supports 10W reversible charging for juicing up your wearables.
Mi 10 Ultra price and Availability
The device on its first sale in China, within 10 minutes, exceeded CYN 400,000,000 ($57,550,800). That’s impressive, given the CYN 5,299 ($762) starting price for the base 6/128GB combo. The 8/256GB variant retail at ($865) while the premium 16/512GB sets you back $1000.
Those in China can now buy the Mi 10 Ultra, while the global Availability is still unknown. However, considering how popular the phone has become, the global customer will surely get their hands on it.
