In five days, Xiaomi will introduce MIUI 12.5 globally, alongside the Mi 11. Ahead of the event, the company has started recruiting global stable beta testers. The opportunity is open to anyone irrespective of region, but you must be running a global ROM. It’s unclear whether these sets of people will test MIUI 12.5 update globally. However, looking at the timing, we think successful applicants will get the chance to test the MIUI 12.5 build. Hence, you should follow the procedure below diligently and apply.
How to join the Global beta testers group
Before we proceed on how to join the Global stable beta testers group, there’s a must-read.
- The ongoing beta recruitment is for Global Stable ROM. Only apply if you’re running a global ROM and willing to test.
- Asking to be transferred to another team after you’re selected wouldn’t be accepted
- You won’t get recruitment notices after a successful application.
- However, you’ll get a notice for OTA release, but you have to join the official telegram channel here.
Requirements
- Your device must be running Global ROM and on the list of eligible phones below
- The phone should be logged in with the same ID which you filled in the recruitment form
- Ability to resurrect a dead phone when flashing failed
- Willing to take risk about failed updating
- Application is only open to people from the age of 18+

Xiaomi has re-opened the first phase of its global Mi Pilot recruitment as more members are needed. However, if you’re using any of the below devices, you shouldn’t apply as testers for the device has all been selected.
