Xiaomi is currently in the third phase of the MIUI 12.5 rollout. The giant Chinese company has already rolled out the update to a bunch of eligible devices. We expect a busy week with the rollout again, which could see the POCO X2 receive the much-anticipated upgrade. Hence, the latest POCO X2 stable update is supposedly the last build before MIUI 12.5 starts rolling out.
Before the latest POCO X2 stable update started rolling out, there have been complaints about the camera app. POCO acknowledged that about 0.2% of users are facing the issue and should clear their camera app data or take the phone to the service center to have it looked at. Hopefully, the current update addresses the problem in time before MIUI 12.5 starts rolling out.
Meanwhile, the new update comes as MIUI 12.1.5.0 RGHINXM in a 902MB package. It’s essentially a security patch update and has pushed the level to May 2021 to increase system security and stability. The update also brought minor UI changes in Gallery, Camera, and Cleaner app. However, we don’t think that’s all for a build of that size. Probably, there have been some bug fixes and optimization.
And yes, it’s a limited rollout at the moment, with only a few selected users receiving it. Hopefully, in a few days, we’ll learn about the bugs that have been fixed with the update. However, you can download the ROM using the links below if you have an authorized Mi Beta account or TWRP recovery installed. Aside from that, you’ll get an error message flashing via recovery.
