Xiaomi has started rolling out the new Game Turbo design in China. It is believed to be a MIUI 13 feature, which will launch at the end of the year. Xiaomi CEO confirmed that in his annual speech yesterday, saying that the build needs polishing, hence we expect features of the next iteration of MIUI to arrive for closed beta testers. As expected, the company has released the new Game Turbo design to the first batch of testers in China. Of course, the new design is exclusive to closed beta testers and it is available for select device.
The Game Turbo has been given a new UI, but only select devices have received it. That’s because it’s still under testing and will probably arrive on other devices later, perhaps with MIUI 13. And given the new changes, it is premium Xiaomi phones that have their Game Turbo UI revamped. Meanwhile, the launch interface didn’t change, as most changes are on the in-game tool.
A quick look at the in-game tool interface shows some added features. Xiaomi has added a toggle to adjust screen brightness and the recently introduced balance and performance mode. Of course, the already existing function is still there, like voice changer, timer, switch, DND, and more. You can learn about the changes via the source link.
As usual, these features are integrated into the security app. The latest version – V5.5.6.210802.0.1 – is available for download, but it is for Chinese ROM. Although you can have it working on your Global ROM, the aforementioned changes won’t be enabled . Hence, it would be a waste of data to download a 61MB package knowing these new changes won’t be affected. Nevertheless, you can get the APK file via this link here.
