Xiaomi, in March this year, released the Mi 10S – a refreshed version of the Mi 10. The duo has a similar design, while the camera island of the former is more of the Mi 10 Ultra. It debuted running Android 11 on top of MIUI 12 and has since upgraded to MIUI 12.5. And given that the device still runs the pre-installed Android OS, means it’s eligible for Android 12 and 13. As expected, the Xiaomi Mi 10S Android 12 beta has been released in China.
The Xiaomi Mi 10S is available in China only. It didn’t make it to the global market, and hence, we won’t be seeing the Global release of the build. However, the Redmi K40, which Also received its first Android 12 beta, is expected to arrive on Mi 11X and POCO F3 in the coming days. We also expect the same for other Xiaomi phones that have been testing the latest version of Android internally.
Meanwhile, for those Mi 10S users, the Android 12 beta build is seeding for the closed beta group. It comes along the current build with a version number – MIUI 12.5 V21.10.12. The update weighs in at about 3.8GB and comes with features of Android 12, but you might not notice because of MIUI.
