Xiaomi has started testing the Global POCO X3 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 build. The Chinese company is expected to announce its next iteration of MIUI in the coming days. They have been testing the build in China, and it seems the global models have joined the party. According to a report, the POCO X3 Pro is currently testing the Android 12-based MIUI 13 build, meaning the device will soon receive the update.
It’s unclear how Xiaomi plans to upgrade eligible devices this year, but we expect to see MIUI 13 and Android 12 simultaneously. That’s for phones eligible for both upgrades as Xiaomi would only upgrade some to MIUI 13. Luckily for the Global POCO X3 Pro users, the device is eligible for Android 12 and MIUI 13, and Xiaomi is already testing the build.
Meanwhile, the Global POCO X3 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 is still a beta build. It will take a few days for the update to become stable before rolling it out to the public. Interestingly, the Indian variants also have their build ready. It has a version number – MIUI 13.0.0.2 SJUINXM, while global models have a build number – MIUI 13.0.0.3 SJUMIXM – meaning both upgrades are based on Android 12.
Unfortunately, we don’t know when Xiaomi plans to start seeding this update, but it seems they’ll take MIUI 12.5 Enhanced approach. If that’s the case, we expect the global POCO X3 Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 to start seeding next month. As usual, it will arrive for stable beta testers before making it to the public. That said, you should keep an eye on our page to know when the update becomes available.

After the wait, it’s now official. The POCO X3 Pro has started receiving Android 12-based MIUI 13 update. It’s the global users getting a stable MIUI 13.0.3.0 SJUMIXM with a 3.1GB package. Check out the complete report here.
