Xiaomi will unveil the much-anticipated MIUI 13 Android skin in less than 48 hours. The launch event will take place in China and will see the Xiaomi 12 series phones make their official debut. With the next iteration coming, Xiaomi has been rolling out the current version of MIUI to focus on the upcoming build. That has seen the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update for Redmi Note 8 in Indonesia released, while POCO X3 GT gets it in Turkey.
As usual, the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update for Redmi Note 8 in Indonesia is a limited rollout. It’s seeding with a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RCOIDXM. Aside from introducing the features of the current MIUI build, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to December 2021. It has increased system security and stability while addressing bugs and optimizing performance.
The POCO X3 GT in Turkey is getting a stable MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKPTRXM. It is a 660MB package and has increased the security and stability of the device while fortifying it for that upcoming Android 12-based MIUI 13 update. The device is already testing the build in China, and we expect the global release plan after the December 28 official launch in China.
Again, both rollouts are limited to Mi Pilots, meaning only select users can install. Nevertheless, you can use the links below to download the ROM for manual installation.
