While the latter features impressive specs, the Redmi Note 11S keeps the price tag affordable. Under the hood is a MediaTek SOC and a primary 108MP sensor. Redmi Note 11S Specs

Redmi Note 11S has a compact design, unlike the Pro version. The device features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, although the fingerprint scanners come off the power button. There’s a punch hole that houses the front camera, while rear sensors sit on a rectangular bump. At the frame is the volume rocker and power button, with the SIM tray on the left frame. The headphone jack is placed on top, including a speaker grill and IR blaster. At the bottom is another speaker close to the USB-C port.

The Redmi Note 10 series phones all featured an AMOLED panel. That also features on the Redmi Note 11 series. It’s a 6.43-inch panel on that Note 11S with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display supports 700 nits brightness and can reach 1000 nits on a full blast. For protection, the FullHD+ panel uses a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, which is resistant to scratches and mild falls.

Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G69 (12nm) Octa-Core processor. It has a dual-core clocked at 2.05GHz, and coupled with up to 8GB of RAM, will deliver maximum performance. Also, with that device running MIUI 13 outside of the box, you’ll get peak performance for a longer time. Unfortunately, it’s based on Android 11, but we expect the current Android OS to start rolling out soon.

There are four camera sensors on that Redmi Note 11S. At the front panel is a single 16MP sensor, while at the back, there are four shooters arranged in a rectangular bump. It has a primary 108MP snapper, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth, and 2MP macro shooter. Unfortunately, there’s no mention of a 4K video, meaning the camera only supports shooting 1080p@30fps.

The device draws power from a beefy 5000mAh battery. It supports 33W fast charging, and according to Xiaomi, it will charge the device from 0 to 100% in 58 minutes. Of course, the device on decent use will go for days while you get ample hours gaming. As for security, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as a power button.
