It took POCO months after the official announcement of the stable MIUI 13 to bring it to the eligible device in its stables. The Xiaomi sub-brand is known for selling reworked Redmi and Xiaomi phones at an affordable price while giving them a slightly different interface with the POCO launcher onboard. Perhaps, the reason for delaying the MIUI 13 rollout until recently. The update arrived on the POCO F3 in Europe before making it to POCO X3 Pro users globally, while the POCO X3 GT has also received the upgrade in India. It seems those in India are now getting the POCO F3 GT Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrade.
According to reports, POCO has released the much-anticipated Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrades to the F3 GT in India. The device is getting a stable MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKJINXM package that weighs 3.2GB. Arriving with the update is a new Android OS (Android 12), and the February 2022 security patch level to increase system security. The changelog also says apps can be opened as floating windows from the sidebar while Enhanced accessibility support for Phone, Clock, and Weather has been optimized. Mind map nodes are more convenient and intuitive, and there has been a system stability improvement.
Of course, there are new introductions – new widgets, ‘Crystallization’ supper wallpapers, Mi Smart Hub integrated into the new control center and sidebar. You can check the complete MIUI 13 changes, but most are exclusive to Chinese users. Hopefully, Xiaomi will extend some of them to global users with subsequent MIUI 13 releases.
