More Xiaomi phones are picking up the stable Android 12-based MIUI 13 update. The update has reached a handful of devices in India, while the POCO X3 GT is the latest device to start receiving the update in that region. However, it’s a limited rollout pending the outcome of the preview phase, and hopefully, in the coming days, the public will start getting the much-anticipated upgrade.
The POCO X3 GT Android 12-based MIUI 13 update arrived in Indonesia a couple of days ago. It’s now making its way to the global models with a version number – MIUI 13.0.3.0 SKPMIXM and weighs 3.2GB. The update comes with all the expected features, and with that, it has introduced new widgets, wallpapers, sidebar, and revamped control center.
Of course, the Android OS version is on Android 12, while the Android security patch level is on February 2022. Supposedly, the global POCO X3 GT Android 12-based MIUI 13 update has improved system performance and stability. Interestingly, there has been an improvement on a third-party system, which now has fewer dropped frames.
Aside from the few additions, apps can be opened as floating windows from the sidebar while Enhanced accessibility support for Phone, Clock, and Weather has been optimized. Also, the Mind map nodes are more convenient and intuitive now with other few improvements you can see here.
Again, the update is a limited rollout at the time of this writing, meaning only Mi Pilots members will receive the update. However, you can access the ROM via the links below, but we recommend backing up your files before proceeding. The reason is that the current build is a cross-section Android upgrade and is likely to contain bugs.
