The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra debuted with Android 11 on top of MIUI 12 even after it was touted to run MIUI 12.5 outside of the box. Perhaps, the latter wasn’t ready during development, and hence, the phone was pre-installed with the stable version of MIUI (MIUI 12). Of course, the device currently runs Android 12, but that changes as the stable MIUI 13 build is released for eligible users in India and Indonesia.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra was among the first phones to receive the current iteration of MIUI in China. It was only a couple of days that the update arrived on global models, but that has now been pushed to India and Indonesia models. However, both are a limited rollout for Mi Pilots members to preview the build and see if developers have missed any bugs. We doubt it as there haven’t been reports for a major bug since the deployment started, and hence, we are optimistic the update will reach the public soon.
It will arrive with the version number – MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKAINXM in India and MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKAIDXM in Indonesia. Both builds weigh 3.2GB and come with the expected features of the international models. That means new additions – widget, sidebar, wallpapers, and a revamped control center to integrate Mi Smart Hub. Also, the update has improved performance and stability, while apps now have fewer dropped frames. Aside from these features, the Android version is on Android 12, while the security patch level is in February 2022.
