A handful of Samsung phones already received the April 2022 security patch update, starting with the Galaxy S22 series phones that got the update even before Google released the April security patch bulletin. The update has since made it to the flagship Galaxy S21, Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy A51, and currently arriving for the A52s.
The Galaxy A52s April 2022 security patch is seeding in Europe. According to the update log, there has been an improvement in the device performance, stability, and security. There might have been an addition of new features, while over 88 security and privacy vulnerabilities have been patched.
As of this writing, the update is exclusive to devices in Europe, but we expect other regions to start receiving the update in the coming days/weeks.
