Xiaomi MIUI has improved so much in the last couple of years. Ranked as one of the best Android skins, Xiaomi keeps refining MIUI with each new iteration. The current version – MIUI 13, is rolling out to eligible users, with MIUI 13.5 in the pipeline. It will focus on system improvements, stability, and performance. And hopefully, with the MIUI weekly bug reports, the company will know what its focus should be on the next upgrade.

MIUI weekly bug report

Interestingly, the company is keeping track of all the bugs reported by Mi Pilots members. They have released the MIUI weekly bug reports to highlight the bugs affecting some phones and their status. The issues of battery drain, no signal, unable to download update package, device randomly turning off, camera and screenshot not working, and more have been highlighted. Below, you can check the device that’s affected and what the company has done and is doing to fix the issue.

Xiaomi MIUI weekly bug report: affected devices and status

Xiaomi Mi 10T & 10T Pro

Xiaomi recently released the stable MIUI 13 update (MIUI 13.0.2.0 SJDEUXM) to the Mi 10T & 10T Pro in Europe. The update is still limited to a few users, and it seems the delay to expand the rollout is due to the ‘No Signal‘ issue reported after the upgrade. Hopefully, a fix will arrive with the next build as developers are already investigating the problem.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G;

The device users are reporting that their device randomly turns off. It’s affecting all device versions, but a repair plan is already in progress and should start seeding for affected users in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi 11T;

Xiaomi 11T users on Vodafone UK are reporting battery drain when using their device. The issues started after an upgrade to V13.0.1.0 SKWEUVF. Interestingly, a fixed build is almost ready and would roll out as MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKWEUVF.

Redmi Note 10 Pro;

Some users are reporting that they can’t download the update package. The fix for the issue is in progress, and you can check your device’s automatic update status under settings when connected to Wi-fi to see the progress.

Xiaomi Mi 10

After the recent Android 12-based MIUI 13 update, Xiaomi Mi 10 users can’t use the camera while that screenshot isn’t working. Unfortunately, Xiaomi is still analyzing the issue, and hopefully, a fixed build will arrive soon.

Redmi 9T

The Redmi 9T is still waiting for the stable MIUI 13 update, and it seems the recent update broke the NFC option. It’s currently limited to Russian ROM users after an upgrade to MIU 12.5.5.0 RJQRUXM. However, the root cause had been identified, meaning a fix is in the pipeline.

We could understand most of the devices started having these issues after an upgrade to MIUI 13. It could be the reason why the update hasn’t reached your device if you’re using any of the affected phones. We expect Xiaomi to address these problems soon, and that’s when the update will likely arrive on your device.
