The April security patch has been rolling out on a lot of Samsung devices worldwide with the flagship models being the first in line. After releasing the package to some non-flagship models like the Galaxy A51, the Galaxy fold 5G April 2022 security patch is now available in most regions.
The Galaxy S22, S22+, and last year’s S21 are first, then some Note series, and the A51 and A52 follow in getting the update. But even though some Galaxy A51 have received the package in some other countries like Slovakia and Latvia, it was just scheduled to arrive in Korea by April 22.
This latest Galaxy Fold 5G April 2022 security patch bears a firmware version of F907BXXS6HVC8 and is now available in the United Kingdom. Though we expect the update to reach other regions soon on both the carrier-locked and the unlocked versions of the device.
The security patch should add a few improvements to your device as it claims to fix 88 vulnerabilities which should include bug fixes and prevention from exploits, so expect improved stability and better overall performance on your handset.
The Galaxy Fold was launched in 2019 with Android 9 out of the box and the Korean brand has been so kind as to keep releasing updates as it got the Android 10, Android 11, and exclusive Android 12 recently.
