Samsung has started pushing the Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 for Galaxy A51 in India

Samsung Galaxy A51 units have been upgrading to Android 12 with OneUI 4.1 for weeks. But due to the nature of OTAs, the rollout was supposed to arrive in India today, 22nd April 2022. Unsurprisingly, Samsung has released the Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 for Galaxy A51 in India. However, it might take some days before the update get to all eligible units.

After much-anticipated, the Galaxy A51 units in India can now upgrade to Android 12 with a stable OneUI 4.1. The update is seeding with a firmware version number A515FXXU5FVD2 and weighs 2001.47MB. Aside from introducing features of OneUI 4.1 and Android 12, the security patch level is on April 2022. That has supposedly increased stability while addressing privacy and security vulnerabilities.

Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 for Galaxy A51 in India introduced Android 12’s Material You wallpaper theming, improved privacy, enabled persimmon notification, Grammarly-powered keyboard, and more. Unfortunately, the camera features that arrived in Galaxy S22 series with the OneUI 4.1 update are missing. Hopefully, Samsung introduces some of them with a future update.

Meanwhile, it’s the Galaxy A51 4G that’s getting the Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 in India. Again, the update would take some delay before arriving on your device, but you can check for it via the settings app.

The update is already available for limited users, and hence, we recommend checking for it via Settings>>System Updates>>Download and Install. You should then follow the screen instructions to complete the upgrade.
