Xiaomi has officially released the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Android 12. The rollout is currently live in Europe and exclusive for limited users. However, Mi Pilot members can access the ROM and flash manually using the link below, while we expect public availability in the coming days.
Xiaomi released the Note 11 Pro+ 5G in China, running Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 ROM. The device arrived on the international market in March with Android 11 but on top of the MIUI 13. Since then, we have been waiting for the stable Android 12 update, given that the build has been available for closed beta users for some time.
According to reports, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G Android 12 update has been released in Europe. It has a version number MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKTEUXM and weighs about 3.09GB. The update arrives with a stable MIUI based on Android 12, bumped the Android security patch level to April 2022, and optimized performance.
It also introduced new features: apps can be opened as floating windows directly from the sidebar. The Android 12 permission notification has been enabled, and it will alert you when an app is accessing your camera, microphone, or location.

The 13.0.1 global rom is on android 11, not 12. the article is wrong. I have the phone and it says android 11.
I guess you’re using Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and not Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. You should know the difference. The latter is currently on MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKTMIXM globally, and it’s based on Android 12.
