Samsung already released the June 2022 security patch to a handful of its phones, with Google Pixels expected to receive the update coming Monday. Ahead of Google, Xiaomi is now pushing the June 2022 security patch to its flagship Mi 11.
It’s the first time Xiaomi is seeding a new security patch build before Google. The tech giant usually releases the latest patch to Pixel phones on the first Monday of the month, along with the security patch bulletin. Only Samsung releases the update earlier, but it seems Xiaomi is coming up to speed.
The Chinese tech company is currently seeding the June 2022 security patch for Xiaomi Mi 11. It’s available for units in Europe and Global with a version numbers MIUI 13.0.6.0 SKBEUXM and MIUI 13.0.3.0 SKBMIXM, respectively
Arriving with the update is the June 2022 security patch to increase system security. Of course, there have been some system improvements and bug fixes. We hope to learn about the security and privacy vulnerabilities patched with the current update on Monday when the patch bulletin is released. .
