In a bid to expand deliverables, the Xiaomi brand might just be cooking up the first Xiaomi car prototype to come in August. While this isn’t the first attempt at this kind of project from the brand, they are a bit optimistic given the investment they’ve put into the project.
The previous attempt was the Xiaomi M365 scooter, however, the Chinese tech giant has decided to step up its game to deliver the first Xiaomi car prototype. The brand plans on investing a sum of 10 billion dollars in the electric vehicle market in a period of 10 years which is a good plan given the huge project at hand.

According to sources, the company founder, Lei Jun, will be revealing the first Xiaomi car prototype sometime in August. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the car was innovated by the HVST Automobile design, a brand that initiated the Maven concept car from WM Motor.
Having unveiled the car, it will be further taken through road testing, and the Xiaomi car PR campaign will start soon after. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Auto manufacturing plant and R&D center will be stationed in Yizhuang while the official kick-start of inspection and testing of the actual production cars should be around 2024.
