With Google expected to release the consumer version of Android 13 in the coming weeks, Samsung is also working to distribute the update to eligible devices as soon as possible. The company has now started the OneUI 5-based Android 13 public beta for its flagship phones in select regions.
The OneUI 5-based Android 13 public beta is currently exclusive to the Galaxy S22 series. It is available for users in Germany (Europe) and South Korea, with the US release expected in the coming days.
From reports, the public beta build can be identified as S90xBXXU2ZVH4 in Germany, while those in South Korea are getting S90xNKSU2ZVH4. Since the version seeding in Germany is for Exynos models, you can sideload it on the European models of the Galaxy S22 series phones.
Meanwhile, the build brings along Android 13 and OneUI 5.0 exclusive features. Aside from that, it bumps the Android security patch level to August 2022 and has supposedly improved system security and stability. If you are a registered beta tester in these regions, you should check for a new update via software update under settings.
