Whatsapp users now have two days to delete messages

Many news flying around about Whatsapp, one of the most used app in the Metaverse. The news is basically comprised of updates. Mark Zuckerberg has been adding interesting tweaks that makes expression better with a touch of privacy control bumps. Meanwhile, Whatsapp users now have two days to delete messages.

What does this mean?

Let’s say you sent an inappropriate text to someone, you can now get a timespan of two days to delete messages with Whatsappp according to an announcement from the company. Previously, the time frame for correcting such errors is just an hour but not anymore.

For Whatsapp users to delete messages, simply long press the message and you’ll be presented with something somewhat of a trash can icon at the top right corner. Tap on it and “Delete for everyone” or “Delete for me”.  Afterwards, rap on “Delete for everyone” to get the message deleted.

Before you can get this “two days to delete messages” feature, you have to get thatesr version of Whatsapp installed on your phone. Meanwhile, there are lot of other interesting features joining this feat. 

Mark Zuckerberg rolled out the Thumbs Up, Red heart, Face with Tears of Joy, Face with Open Mouth, Crying Face, and Folded Hands Whatsapp message reactions. We also got to see animated heart emoji, new privacy control settings, increase in group members limit among some precautions to prevent Whatsapp scam. Whatsapp is sure getting interesting features, not surprising for one of the most used social media platform.
