Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is finally here, there was much anticipation and expectations about this smartphone. Bringing in many outstanding features both in software and hardware, it might just be an upgrade from Z Fold 3.
What are we in for with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
Well, the first headline feature is the sleek Snapdragon 8 Gen plus 1 chipset. A chipset that has gotten a 30 percent increase in power efficiency, a better GPU, and better battery backup among other features, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This feature alone bumps the Snapdragon 888 chipset on the Fold 3, a very impressive upgrade.
With this impressive chipset coupled with the camera sensors, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 camera abilities should be very amazing. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is housing a 50MP primary camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. Alongside these hardware features, there are in-built camera features like Dual Preview, Capture View mode as well as Rear Cam selfie.
We can’t forget the screen features of this smartphone although it isn’t that much different from Z Fold 3. The screen is a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover screen, with a bit more width compared to Z Fold 3. The internal screen is a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display together with a 120Hz peak refresh rate.
Connectivity? The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 features 5G support, 4G LTE support, and Bluetooth 5.2 among others. There is also a 10MP and 4MP camera present on the screen plus an S Pen support. The S Pen however isn’t present in the box.
The smartphone comes with Android 12L OneUI 4.1.1 out of the box and will surely get more OS upgrades in the future. There are still some interesting software features present in the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 for you to explore.
Finally the pricing and availability. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will go on sale on August 26 and will be available in Gray-green, Phantom Black and Beige, and Burgundy (via the online store) colors. The 12GB+256GB storage variant goes for about $1800 and you can pre-order via the link at the end of this article.
