The Meta boss, Mark Zuckerberg keeps on looking for ways to improve the privacy controls on WhatsApp, one of the most used apps in the Metaverse. Sources have related that Whatsapp’s screenshot blocking for View Once messaging is reportedly in the works, we should be expecting it very soon.
Normally, View Once messaging doesn’t seem to be living up to its name completely. When someone accesses a View Once message, it is supposed to be just for the one time and isn’t supposed to leak out. WhatsApp’s screenshot blocking for this messaging has been long awaited and will be coming soon, however, there’s no date specified by the Meta boss.
Adding to this feature, two other features are still coming to Whatsapp. One of them is the ability to leave a group chat without the members noticing, although the admins will get a notification. This will prevent some unnecessary questions and awkwardness.
Finally, the “who can see you when you are online” feature. You will be able to set it to either “everyone”, “my contacts”, “my contacts except…” or “nobody”.

Mark Zuckerberg rolled out the Thumbs Up, Red heart, Face with Tears of Joy, Face with Open Mouth, Crying Face, and Folded Hands Whatsapp message reactions. We also got to see animated heart emoji, new privacy control settings, increase in group members limit among some precautions to prevent Whatsapp scams. Whatsapp is sure getting interesting features, not surprising for one of the most used social media platforms.
