With the Android 13 stable release, Google resolved many issues and introduced new features. The tech giant is now updating its apps to perhaps adapt fully to the latest Android OS. They’re currently rolling out a new Google Camera 8.6 update to improve performance and resolve issues.
Google has released a new update to its camera app, taking the version from 8.6.263.461063035.12 to 8.6.263.463689965.13. That shows it’s a minor update, probably to improve performance. Also, to resolve any issues that might be affecting the app after the Android 13 upgrade.
However, the update isn’t exclusive to Android 13 users. Google is rolling out the new update to devices running Android 12 and later. Of course, it’s only available to Pixel phones, while we expect Gcam 8.6 mod in the coming weeks.
Features of the new Google Camera 8.6
The app now supports Material You design, meaning the UI will adapt to the color of your wallpaper. There’s a new Audio Enhancement that probably enhances audio during video recordings. Also, improvement and bug fixes are part of the update, which is now available on the Google Play store.
