Here’s the crux of the matter: the new Google Wallet app is now available for 6 more countries adding to the 39 already receiving the update. The six countries are Moldova, Qatar, Serbia, South Africa, Azerbaijan, and Iceland.
Users in South Africa, Serbia, Qatar, and Moldova will be able to make payments with the new Google Wallet app via their Android smartphones and Wear OS. The other two will have to wait a bit more to get the software on their Wear OS smartwatches.
What’s with the new Google Wallet app?
Not only is the new Google Wallet app useful in keeping credit cards on your smartphones but it has been designed to keep other indispensable information. Speaking of valuable information like boarding passes, loyalty cards, IDs, and many more.
Furthermore, the new Google Wallet can now house your vaccine cards, and the last thing you would worry about is security. Equipped with Android security features like passwords and facial recognition, “users will be able to control the data and how it can be accessed”.

It is worth noting that the new Google Wallet will be based on encryption. Any information needed to be shared with other apps will be related to the course. For instance, checking if your funds are sufficient for purchase, nothing else will be disclosed but things about your purchase course
The new Google Wallet app will be available to a total of 45 countries now, we’ve shared a screenshot of all the countries eligible for the software. That said, users in the United States and Singapore will have to augment the Google Wallet with GPay in terms of sending money.
