The Galaxy S22 series is the first smartphone to receive the OneUI 5 beta based on Android 13 and it landed a little later than the rumored date. However, we still can’t dispute the fact that the Android 13 OneUI 5 beta is arriving earlier than the OneUI 4 beta based on Android 12. Well, the Galaxy S22 series stable Android 13 release date has surfaced online.
Galaxy S22 series stable Android 13 release dates
The Galaxy S22 series stable Android 13 was rumored to arrive sometime in October but we have a more precise date, thanks to leaker @RoderSuper. According to him, the Galaxy S22 series stable Android 13 will be coming on October 17 or 19. Not surprising, the update is coming in earlier than the Android 12 last year.
After the update gets to the S22, the foldable lineup, the Note series, and other S series might follow before the midranges probably. There are a slew of features expected to be on the Galaxy S22 series stable Android 13.
We’ve obtained the features of the OneUI 5 beta and it’s quite lengthy, it cuts across accessibility controls, security and privacy control, Material You, Bixby Routines, and many more, although there aren’t many visual changes. The features in the beta should be reciprocated in the stable version with the introduction of better stability and user experience.
The beta was made available in the UK, Poland, South Korea, India, and China; other regions will follow suit soon. That said, we don’t know if most regions will get the beta but the Galaxy S22 series stable Android 13 should be rolled out to everyone by the end of the year.
