Another teaser from Google – yet again – of the next generation of the Google Pixel series, Google Pixel 7. The brand has released the official Pixel 7 design video ahead of its launch on October 6. The official Pixel 7 design video adds to the other videos – hands-on video and first impression video – that have since surfaced online.
What’s with the official Pixel 7 design video?
The official Pixel 7 design video(link at the end of the article) goes on to show more details of this sleek smartphone. The video reveals the ever aesthetic curved display edges, the polished finish as well as the rear and front camera sensors. According to what we’ve been familiar with, this smartphone is set to debut in three colourways – Obsidian, Snow and Hazel.
The video doesn’t say what we’re to expect from the inner compartments but that has been revealed long ago. The next-gen Tensor chipset – Tensor G2 – is expected on this smartphone, and according to the Amazon listing which showed up yesterday, the chip will be bringing the best video and photo quality yet to be seen on Pixel. Although, we don’t expect less from the Tensor G2 because the Big G has packed in amazing enhancements compared to its predecessor.
Then on to the pricing, this smartphone has a similar price tag as its predecessor, Google Pixel 6 series. The regular Google Pixel 7 will start at $599 for the 128GB model and $899 for the Pro counterpart. The phones will be up for preorder by October 6 – the date scheduled for the hardware event – and they will be made more available on October 13. So there you have it, a clearer look at the Pixel 7 series, nice one Google.
