OneUI 5 is the software from the Korean tech giant, Samsung, that’s taking up the Android 13 to give something unique filled with interesting tweaks. And now, it has been tipped that the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5 update will arrive this month.
We had a series of beta releases across different Galaxy smartphones, from the flagship Galaxy S22 to Galaxy S21, S20 and even A52. Surprisingly, we haven’t had any beta release on the foldables yet even if the S21 has received up to three updates now. These releases make us wonder “Wow, the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5 should be out very soon”.
We’ve had four beta releases on the flagship S22 and it’s conventional to expect the finished firmware after the fourth release. And given that the Android 13 is having a speedy rollout since it came into the tech world, our guess is, we should be seeing the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5 this month. For reference, if the OneUI 5 arrives this month, then it will be a month earlier than OneUI 4 and two months earlier than OneUI 3.0
What to expect from the stable Android 13-based OneUI 5
The Android 13 has been everything wonderful since it was announced by Google at the I/O. The stable Android 13-based OneUI 5 should be providing stability to the existing features from all the beta releases. Some of these features are Material You, new accessibility and privacy controls, improved widgets, and tweaks to stock apps among many more.
