Interesting to know that the Galaxy S20 Android 13 update is finally available, of course with the OneUI 5. The Android 13-based OneUI 5 update was rolled out to high-end Galaxy smartphones via some beta releases. Some of which have now received the stable version of the update – it’s time for the Galaxy S20 Android 13 update.
The OTA update might not be currently available, however, SamMobile has noticed the firmware in their archives. The update will be rolling out the Galaxy S20, S20+ as well as the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The Galaxy S20 series users in Germany and Switzerland will be the first set of users to enjoy this software – other regions will follow in the coming weeks.
The Galaxy S20 Android 13 update bears firmware version G98XFXXUFGVJE for the Galaxy S20 and S20+, while the S20 Ultra variant takes up firmware version G988BXXUFGVJE.
What’s new?
Given all the series of OneUI 5 rollouts to the Galaxy smartphones earlier, you should be familiar with what features to expect from this update. Samsung is offering Material You Pallette, more personalisation and customisation options, more accessibility controls, and UI enhancements among many other features via the Galaxy S20 Android 13 update.
Download the Galaxy S20 Android 13 update
The Galaxy S20 Android 13 update should have landed in Germany and Switzerland so those users can download the update. Those in other regions should be patient as you will get a notification when it’s available. Meanwhile, you can navigate to Settings, Software Updates and then download and install.
