The first foldable smartphone from Google has reportedly been in the works for a long time now. A lot of rumours have been surfacing but not with much accuracy as they don’t all match a specific structure. Nevertheless, they keep on coming, we have Google Pixel Fold design leaks with a supposed price tag.
Further details on the Google Pixel Fold design leaks
These Google Pixel Fold design leaks reveal a long-known rumour (that was seen in several other leaks), the smartphone looks more like OPPO Find N than the Galaxy Fold. Speaking precisely, the Google Pixel Fold design leaks (via Front Page Tech ) say the smartphone is wider than the narrower Galaxy Fold(in a way making it look more like the Find N)
Meanwhile, this is the third attempt by Google in trying to put together a fold. This time, the brand is going with the codename Felix but what features are we expecting? Starting with the hardware features, we’ve got a cover display and an under-display housing a 9.5MP camera sensor then we have a frame featuring two antenna lines.
On the rear, we have a similar camera “pill” on the Pixel 7 Pro plus a circular camera cutout at the right(protruding via a camera bump). Also, there has to be space for a microphone and flash at the left. Still, on the rear, there’s the visible G logo, ever stunning and it kind of rhymes with the whole black and white comb uhinations from the camera and body.
Speaking of black, looking at the Google Pixel Fold design leaks, there is a visible bezel on the top and bottom of the Fold that takes up the entire width of the smartphone and not just the under-display camera. We’ve got the USB C port at the bottom right side, five small holes at the top and bottom, as well as the fingerprint sensor integrated with the power button(with the volume button below).
Lastly, on pricing, the Google Pixel Fold or Notepad(Google hasn’t arrived at a name) should start at $1799 and will probably come in sometime in May 2023 at the I/O – we might also get to see the Tensor G3.
