Yet again, another Android 13 update from the Korean tech giant, Samsung. This is expected as the brand leads the Android 13 deployment second to Google(who is the owner of the Android OS). Well, this time it’s the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G Android 13 with the OneUI 5.
Before this Samsung Galaxy M33 5G Android 13 update, one of the smartphones in the M-series lineup received this update (that’s the M32 5G). In addition to the M32 5G Android 13 update, we have the high-end Galaxy S22, S21 and S20, some A-series and even foldables as well. Some of these smartphones received a series of beta releases before the stable version arrived.
Back to the subject matter, the Samsung Galaxy M33 5G Android 13 update bears firmware version M336BXXU3BVK3 and it’s currently available in Europe. Together with the OneUI 5 software, there’s the October Security Patch present in this update as well.
What’s new?
We’re quite familiar with what to expect with this update as we’ve seen it roll out on other smartphones. The OneUI 5 is integrated with a lot of features that range from UI enhancements to stock app improvements to accessibility and customisation improvements among many others.
The smartphone might not take up all the features present in the flagship, however, the features rolled out together with the October SMR should give this smartphone a new look.
