Just when we thought it was over, the Korean tech giant, Samsung, is rolling out the Galaxy A53 5G Android 13 update to the carrier-locked units in the US. The Android 13 update has been on the rollout since October last year, the stable version we mean. But while you just have to applaud the Galaxy A53 5G Android 13 update and the Android 13s that have rolled out in the past, the brand mentions that it will be faster with the Android 14.
Back to the subject matter, the Galaxy A53 5G Android 13 update rolling out now bears firmware version A536U1UEU4BWA5. Not only did it bring the OneUI 5.0, as usual, but the January security patch is integrated with it as well. The update is currently rolling out to the devices on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Comcast, Cricket, Nextech, US Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile networks.
What’s new?
The Android 13 update coming to the Galaxy A53 5G, just like other OneUI 5, should be bringing in a revamped UI, Color Pallette, tweaks to stock apps, better customizations and personalization, and camera enhancements among many others. All these features together with the January security patch(fixing over 50 vulnerabilities) will be giving this smartphone a whole new look.
