Details of the Asus ROG Phone 6 Android 13 update
As far as monster gadgets go, the ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro are unrivaled. Both smartphones are designed specifically for gaming and boast excellent SoCs and memory capacities. Of course, higher specifications lead to improved overall performance, making the ROG Phone 6 series an excellent choice for everyday power.
With the Asus ROG Phone 6 series hitting stores before Android 13, consumers have been kept waiting for the latest operating system to arrive on their smartphones – well, we have the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Android 13 now.
Asus said last year that the ROG Phone 6 series will receive Android 13, which would be in Q1 of this year, 2023. Asus has now officially announced the ASUS ROG Phone 6 Android 13 via a new changelog, with Android 13 being the key enhancement.
In addition to Android 13, Asus will provide its skin, giving it the “Asus” touch. New notification permission capabilities, a QR code scanner in the lock screen, and themed icon options in the wallpaper settings are also included. The whole changelog may be seen via the link at the end of the article.
Asus relays that the update (33.0610.2810.72) may take a few days to complete, but Android 13 is undoubtedly on its way to each ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro. Those who own the ROG Phone 6D will have to wait a bit longer, while Asus still expects the new OS to arrive in Q1.
