Google’s Feature Drop update, along with the March 2023 security patch (Google Pixel March Feature drop), was meant to come on March 6 – first Monday of the month – as is customary. That didn’t happen for some reason, but someone on Reddit posted the main features that are expected to appear for the next Google Pixel phones and the Pixel Watch.
Features of the Google Pixel March Feature drop
The Pixel 6 series will receive the new, quicker Night Sight, which debuted with the Pixel 7 series. The Direct My Call function, which provides all the menu options on calls without having to listen to the entire thing, will finally be available for Pixel 4a phones and higher.
Although the Magic Eraser is already available to Google One members, including iPhone users, it will be made available to all Pixel phones. A new Health Connect app will allow you to share fitness data across numerous fitness applications, allowing you to see all of your data in one spot.
Finally, Fall Detection will be available on the Pixel Watch and Pixel 5 phones or later. When the Pixel Watch senses a fall, it checks to see if you are responsive and, if not, it instantly calls for help. To reduce false alerts, the system is also trained to identify tumbles. Remember that they are merely highlights from marketing materials, not a whole Google Pixel March Feature drop changelog.
That said, a quick analysis of what the Reddit poster has released online shows that the Google Pixel March Feature drop is merely an official announcement of the features we’ve talked about earlier. Features like the Fall detection and the Direct My Call have been revealed by sources to be arriving at Pixel devices(if they didn’t) weeks ago.
