The Google Pixel Fold will be arriving at the Google I/O 2023 and a lot of leaks have been surfacing about this first foldable of Google. While what we have been seeing since are just leaks, we’ve obtained a close look at the Google Pixel Fold via a video.

A short video uploaded on Twitter by Kuba Wojciechowski shows the Google Pixel Fold in action, giving us our first real look at the hardware outside of a fleeting peak in a public subway. The software is nearly fully obscured in the brief video, but it provides a good look at the hardware.
The inner display of the Google Pixel Fold has a small bezel at the top and the bottom. However, there’s the expansive display in between that appears to be wider than that of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4. The cutout of the Google Pixel Fold for the camera appears to be hidden within the bezel on top.
Speaking of the crease, a popular characteristic of Samsung foldable, the Google Pixel Fold seems to be devoid of crease although there’s a little crease when the screen shuts off. As the phone closes, we can see the flat outer display which seems wider than a typical smartphone and a bit shorter, much like the Oppo Find N2.
We can also see shiny sides along all edges with the side-mounted fingerprint scanner and volume buttons along the “bottom” half of the phone when closed. We can also see the tiniest peek of the camera bar on the back. And that’s it about the video, the folding of Google Pixel Fold. But what about other specs?
What was known about the Google Pixel Fold
Earlier rumors stated that the Pixel Fold will measure 158.7 x 139.7 x 5.7mm when fully opened, making it somewhat bigger than the Find N. While the Pixel Fold appears to be shorter and slimmer than Oppo’s foldable, it may be broader than Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 when folded.
The foldable should be taking up a 5000mAh battery and of course, the Google Tensor 2 probably. Lastly, on pricing, sources say the Google Pixel Fold is going to cost about $1700 which makes it cheaper than the competition. Let’s see how it will fare in the market when it is released.
