Google Pixel Watch is in the second generation, and as expected, the Watches are still missing some software features. The Pixel Watch 2 debuted alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro with many improvements over the predecessor, but Google failed to add a notification feature to know when your Pixel Watch is fully charged.
Not knowing when your Pixel Watch hits 100% may see the Watch charge for hours, whereas it charges under an hour. Google is currently working on a Notification feature so that you can stop charging your Watch for hours.
According to 9to5Google, the latest Pixel Watch app update hints at a new notification feature that will pop up on the notification bar once your Watch is fully charged. Interestingly, they were able to test the feature, and it works as expected, with the notification arriving once the Smartwatch hits 100%.
Meanwhile, the new notification feature is still under internal testing, so you can not activate it just yet. We expect public availability in the coming weeks, perhaps with the next Watch App update since the feature already works properly if enabled.
