It has been only a few hours since Xiaomi announced HyperOS globally, with the rollout expected to start in Q4 2024, according to the official roadmap. However, the company is already rolling out the update, which has since arrived for some Xiaomi 12T users in Europe. Xiaomi 13 Ultra users in the same region have started getting the much-anticipated upgrade as well.
Xiaomi has prioritized system improvements and enhanced connectivity with the HyperOS update. The latest OS did not bring major UI changes, though there has been a redesign of some system apps, like that weather app. Animation has improved thanks to the new animation language, while multitasking has been optimized.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra HyperOS update is seeding with a version number OS1.0.5.0 UMAEUXM. From the build number, the update is exclusive to European users and brings the latest Android OS. Also, it bumps the Android security patch level to November 2023 to increase system security and stability.
