Xiaomi might have released the stable HyperOS update to global users, but most people are still running MIUI. That’s the case of the Redmi Note 10 units, which got a new update a couple of days after months of weeks. Unfortunately, the update seems to have broken the Launcher, which is now unresponsive.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has been moved to quarterly update releases, meaning the device gets a new update every three months. The latest build arrived a few days ago based on MIUI 14, which bumped the Android security patch level to October 2023. While the update improved security and stability, users are reporting that MIUI Launcher is not responding.
Meanwhile, the MIUI Launcher not responding issue seems to affect the Russian ROM users. According to reports, the issue is exclusive to those running the stable MIUI 14.0.6.0.SKGRUXM. Xiaomi is currently analyzing the problem and will release a fix to address the issue. However, the company has provided a temporary workaround while they work on a permanent fix.
How to fix Xiaomi MIUI Launcher not responding
It’s a temporary fix, and we recommend following the process to resolve the issue for now. Head to Settings>>Apps>>Manage Apps>>System Launcher>>Clear data>>Clear all data. This will restore the default layout of the system launcher.
