Google has started rolling out January 2024 security patch update to Pixel phones. Eligible users are receiving the update, which resolves issues and improves performance.
Pixel phones usually receive a new security patch update every first Monday of the month, but there was a two-day delay with the new year falling on the first Monday of January. However, the January 2024 security patch update is now rolling out to eligible phones.
The update is rolling out with a build number QU1A.240105.002 in a 26.57MB package. It resolved 11 security problems in the patch dated 2024-01-01 and 48 vulnerabilities ranging from moderate to critical in the 2024-01-05 patch.
Aside from addressing security flaws, the January 2023 security patch update for Pixel phones fixed some camera and UI issues. Below are the complete changes.
