Xiaomi has started rolling out the HyperOS update again, with the Redmi 12C units in Europe now receiving the much-anticipated upgrade. It is a limited rollout to allow Mi Pilots members to preview the build before it can be released to the public. However, you download the Redmi 12C HyperOS ROM and install it manually.
It has been a few days since a new phone received the HyperOS update, but the company has resumed the rollout again. The Redmi 12C HyperOS update initially arrived for that global unit, while the European models have now joined the party.
The update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.1.0.UCVEUXM. It comes with all the expected features, which include a revamped control panel, redesigned weather app, new home screen icons, and system fonts. There have been security improvements and bug fixes, although we recommend checking all the reported bugs before installing the update.
