Xiaomi has started rolling out the Redmi Note 11 HyperOS update to global users. As usual, only a few people are getting the update for preview, which will be available for more people in the coming days after the beta tests. However, there’s an option to download the Recovery ROM and install it manually.
Xiaomi is now rolling out a HyperOS update to the global Redmi Note 11. The update is limited to Mi Pilots members for preview, and we expect a public release in the coming weeks. As expected, it delivers all the expected features but could only bump the Android security patch level to January 2024 to increase system security and stability.
Meanwhile, the Global Redmi Note 11 Android 14 HyperOS update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.3.0.TGCMIXM. From the build number, the update didn’t bring a new OS upgrade, meaning the device has elapsed its OS support.
Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 11 in January 2022, running Android 11, and has released two OS upgrades to the device. Unfortunately, Android 13 is the last major OS update, meaning there won’t be Android 14. Nevertheless, HyperOS has delivered some cool features, and we recommend installing the update.
While waiting for the update, ensure your bootloader is locked and check for all the reported HyperOS bugs before installing. You can follow our social media platforms to know when the update becomes available in your region.
