Xiaomi has officially announced HyperOS alongside their latest flagship phones to the global market. These phones run Android 14 on top of HyperOS outside of-the-box, and the update is now being released to eligible phones. As expected, the Redmi Note HyperOS update is now available for limited users.
According to the official release plan for the global units, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G HyperOS is not supposed to be rolling out. However, we have seen that happen many times in the past. Also, considering that most devices on the official list have received the upgrade, it is normal for other devices to start getting the update. That’s the case with the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G, but there’s no Android 14.
Like the Redmi Note 11, Xiaomi won’t be upgrading the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G to Android 14. The device has received two Android OS upgrades, which is maximum for mid-range phones. However, with HyperOS, Xiaomi has made some changes and optimized performance, and we recommend you install the update when prompted.
The update is rolling out with a version number OS1.0.2.0.TGDMIXM and weighs 1.1GB. It comes with all the expected features while bumping the Android security patch level to February 2024 to increase system security and stability. There’s no Android 14, and we don’t expect a new OS release in the future. You can check the updater app or use the link below to download the update.
