Xiaomi has yet to complete the Android 14 HyperOS rollout, and hence, more devices are still getting the upgrade. The update is now available for the global Redmi Note 13 NFC but is limited to a few users for preview. However, you can install the Recovery ROM with an authorized Mi Beta account.
A couple of weeks ago, Xiaomi released the March 2024 security patch for the Redmi Note 13 NFC in Europe. The same update is rolling out for global users but comes with the much-anticipated Android 14 and HyperOS upgrades.
With the latest update, global Redmi Note 13 NFC has received some features of HyperOS, which include, new system fonts, new animation language, a revamped control center, redesigned weather app, new home screen icons, and more. There have been some security improvements while performance has been enhanced, but that doesn’t mean bugs are not being reported.
There are cases of bugs after installing the HyperOS update. While some of the issues have been resolved, it is necessary to look at them and back up your device before attempting the upgrade. And remember, you need a locked bootloader to install the update successfully.
