Samsung and Qualcomm are yet to announce their next flagship SoCs, which will power most 2025 flagship phones, but we already know the features they will debut with. The latest leak suggests that the Exynos chip may finally catch up or perhaps overtake the Snapdragon top-of-the-line processor.
The next premium Samsung Chip will answer the Exynos 2500, while the Qualcomm upcoming flagship SoC be named the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. According to reports, the former will be built on a 3 nm process technology, while the latter will stick to 4nm. That gives an edge to the upcoming Samsung SoC.
It agrees with a post on X (Twitter) by PandaFlashPro, which points to the Exynos 2500 being a better processor than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 regarding power efficiency and raw performance.
Meanwhile, Samsung is working on two flagship chips, the Exynos 2500-B, with a 10-core CPU set to power their tablets and Galaxy Book laptops. There’s an Exynos 2500-A with an 8-core CPU for flagship Samsung phones.
On paper, the Exynos 2500 seems like a better processor, but we can only say which one is better after both processors are put into real-life use. We expect the official unveiling in the coming months, and you can follow our social media platforms to learn when the announcement is made.
