Samsung is keeping its promise to bring Galaxy AI features to older phones. These features debuted with the One UI 6.1 on the Galaxy S24 and have since made it to a few phones, including the Galaxy S23. Not surprisingly, the Galaxy S21 One UI 6.1 update has started rolling out but is limited to a few regions.
A few minutes after the Galaxy S22 started getting the One UI 6.1 update, the Galaxy S21 One UI 6.1 update went live, as well. Both releases are exclusive to users in South Korea, with other regions expected to start getting the upgrade soon.
The One UI 6.1 brought AI features to the Galaxy S24, with a few missing on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy 22. Samsung seems to include only Circle to Search for the Galaxy S21 users, but that’s not surprising. The company already announced that only a few AI features will come to older phones.
